Tasting Guide
ACIDITY:Not a negative word when describing coffee. It means a Sharp or piquant, pleasing tartness which gives coffee snap.
AROMA:This is the pleasing smell sensation which comes from freshly brewed coffee. One of the best scents in the world.
BODY: Body is the sense of heaviness at the back of the tongue that a particular coffee gives.
FLAVOR:This is the all-encompassing coffee term and includes the Impressions of acidity, aroma and body.
MELLOW:A mellow coffee has a low or medium acidity and flavor that is full, well balanced and favorable.
STRONG:This term is used to indicate the intensity of a particular aspect of a coffee, just like in everything else.
WINY:Winy is a characteristic of certain fine coffees which have thick body and a mellow quality.
